Rod Isaac leaves Midfield after serving fifteen seasons as the head coach at the school. His overall record stands at 76-75 including ten playoff appearances. The Patriots were 3-6 in 2025. 2026 Season Lavert Andrews was the baseball coach at Minor before accepting the head coaching job at Midfield in March. Andrews was an assistant football coach at both Midfield and Ramsay before moving to Minor. Andrews is an Ensley High School and Miles College graduate, where he also played football. | |

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
