2026 Head Football Coaching Changes

Houston County
Tanner Harris leaves Houston County after just two seasons following a 1-9 season in 2025. The Lions won the first game of the season before losing the next nine. Coach Harris' first team at Houston County looked promising with a 6-5 record and a playoff spot. The Lions will now be in search of their fifth head coach in eight years. They have not won a playoff game since the 2004 football season. 2026 Season BJ Chitty was a Northview High football standout who had a strong career on the Troy football team. He was hired to replace Coach Harris at Houston County in December. This will be his first shot as a head football coach.
