Joe Brewton leaves Edgewood Academy after just a single season leading the football program. Since Bobby Carr left with his seven state championship trophies the Wildcats have struggled to find much success on the field. Edgewood will be in search of their sixth head coach in the past dozen seasons. 2026 Season Gregg Baker has coached in and around Elmore County for nearly 40 years. He began his coaching career at Trinity before getting his first head coaching job at Alabama Christian in 2006. He has also served as a head football coach at Catholic and Highland Home. | |
