2026 Head Football Coaching Changes

Crenshaw Christian
Jonny Mitchell stepped down as Crenshaw Christian Academy's athletic director and head football coach in late October. Spud Lynn served as the interim coach through the rest of the 2025 football season. His only season as the head coach at the school produced a 3-7 record before he left the position with two games remaining in the season. The Cougars will be in search of their ninth head coach since the end of the 2012 season. They won an AISA state championship as recently as 2020 under the direction of Coach Wayne Grant. 2026 Season Justin Bayman served as an assistant football coach, and strength and conditioning coach last season at Crenshaw Christian. After a tough couple of seasons for the Cougars his hopes are high of righting the ship and get the team back to championship caliber very soon.
