Veteran head coach Trent Taylor resigned following the 2014 season to accept the head coaching position at Andalusia high school. Taylor, a graduate of Andalusia high school, spent 25 seasons at Straughn where he built a very successful program. His teams went 175-107 and qualified for the playoffs a total of twenty times and won four region championships. His overall record, including two seasons at Kinston (1988-89), stands at 183-121. |
