Geneva County Bulldogs
Neal Markham
Markham attended New Mexico State and graduated from North Alabama before embarking on his coaching career. He served as head basketball coach at Autaugaville and Prattville during his early days as a head coach.
In 1975 he took over the football program at Geneva County for two seasons and a 8-12 record.
He moved to Marbury in 1978 for four seasons and a 24-17 record at the school.
In 1983 he returned to Autaugaville and went 72-37 over the next nine seasons as the head football coach.

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
