Game: Played Thursday December 4, 2008 at Legion Field in Birmingham
 
Summary:
          The UMS-Wright Bulldogs claimed their fourth title in ten seasons at Legion Field in Birmingham by defeating Cherokee County 41-7.
          The Bulldogs went 97 yards and 98 yards for their first two touchdowns to deliver an early knockout and beat Cherokee County for their fourth state title of the decade and the fifth overall.
          William Reaves, who's listed at 5-foot-9 and 159 pounds, was named the game MVP after catching a 4A record 181 yards on eight catches for UMS-Wright. Bragg Foshee, a junior, completed 12-of-14 passes for 232 yards without an interception.
