| ASWA High School Football Poll | | Week 6 -- Wednesday, October 1, 2025 | We have a new #1 in 7A this week as the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies assume the top spot for the first time since the 1991 football season. Russell County, the #7 team in 6A, is ranked higher than they have been since the 1998 season.
Williamson is ranked higher than they have been since 2000 at the Number 2 spot in 5A. In 3A, Southside Selma is also ranked higher than they have been since 1989 at #6.
