Clements completed the 2025 season with a 4-6 record. Last year Clements finished sixth in Class 3A region seven with a 2-5 region record and failed to qualify for the playoffs. The Colts last playoff victory came during the 1988 season. They would love to break through this year with a post season win. Clements was inconsistent offensively last year and they need some improvement if the Colts want to be competitive. They only averaged 17.5 points a game. Clements struggled on the defensive side of the football last year. The defense found little success in stopping opposing offenses as they gave up an average of 35.8 points a game. Since 2010, the Clements football program has struggled with a record of 43-120. Over the past 25 seasons, Clements has not won much with a record of 79-178. Their 31.0% winning percentage ranks 56th in Class 3A and 345th in the AHSAA. Head Coach: The Colts are led by head coach Brick Pugh who is entering his third season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 5-15 over the past two seasons at Clements. The Colts have yet to reach the playoffs under his direction. They have not won a region crown with Coach Pugh. Season Outlook: The Clements Colts will play in Class 3A region seven during the 2026 season. It's been four seasons since the Colts of Clements reached the playoffs. They did take a step forward last year and with a little luck could find themselves back in the hunt for a playoff spot in 2026. The Colts could find themselves challenging for one of the playoff spots for region seven this season with a few breaks and a little improvement. Clements has failed to qualify for the playoffs since 2021 but hope to return to the post season this year. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
