Lowndes Academy completed the 2022 season with a 11-2 record. Last year Lowndes Academy captured the region one title and a number one seed in the Class A playoffs. They finished region play with a 4-0 record. The Lowndes Academy Rebels claimed the AISA-A State Championship by defeating Jackson Academy 24-8 in Troy. No team at Lowndes Academy ever won more games in a season than the eleven victories last year. Over the past two seasons the Rebels have Finished 22-5 and will be looking to continue that winning tradition. Since 2010, Lowndes Academy has gone a combined 76-68. Their 52.8% winning percentage ranks 3rd in Class A over the past thirteen seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Lowndes Academy has managed to compile a record of 155-124. Their 56.0% winning percentage ranks 3rd in Class A and 16th in the AISA. The Rebels are led by head coach Shane Moye who is entering his sixth season at the helm.
