Chambers Academy completed the 2021 season with a 10-2 record. Last year Chambers Academy captured the region one title and a number one seed in the Class AA playoffs. They finished region play with a 4-0 record. Last year Chambers Academy reached the semi-finals before falling to a very good Escambia Academy team by the score of 37-13. Over the past two seasons the Rebels have gone 22-3 and will be looking to continue that winning tradition. Since 2010, Chambers Academy has gone a combined 102-41. Their 71.3% winning percentage ranks 3rd in Class AA over the past twelve seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Chambers Academy has managed to compile a record of 163-113. Their 59.0% winning percentage ranks 5th in Class AA and 11th in the AISA. The Rebels are led by head coach Jason Allen who is entering his eighteenth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 138-64 over the past seventeen seasons at Chambers Academy. Under his direction the Rebels have qualified for the playoffs a total of fourteen times. They have won nine region crowns with Coach Allen. Coach Allen has won two state championships at Chambers Academy, the last coming in 2020. Over the course of his career, Coach Allen's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of seventeen times and won nine region championships. The Chambers Academy Rebels will play in Class AA region one during the 2022 season. The Rebels enter the 2022 season having won 6 straight region games. The Rebels should be considered one of the favorites for the region one championship this season and a home game in the first round of the playoffs. The Rebels have successfully qualified for the playoffs every year since 2012 and expect to be included again when November rolls around. The Rebels open the 2022 season at home against non-region opponent Lee-Scott Academy on Thursday, August 18 at Torbert-Allen Field. Last year the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors finished with an overall record of 8-3 and in second place in Class AAA region one. The Warriors lost in the semi-finals round of the Class AAA playoffs to Tuscaloosa Academy by a score of 26-13. Chambers Academy and Lee-Scott Academy have met a total of 28 times on the football field. The Rebels have a 12-16-0 record against the Warriors.
