Southside completed the 2021 season with a 9-2 record. With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 3A region three, the Panthers earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Southside's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Bayside Academy by a score of 37-36. No team at Southside ever won more games in a season than the nine victories last year. The last time they won as many was back in 2003. The 438 points scored by the Panthers last year were a team record in a single season. The Panthers last playoff victory came during the 2003 season. They would love to break through this year with a post season win. Since 2010, Southside has gone a combined 48-76. Their 38.7% winning percentage ranks 42nd in Class 3A over the past twelve seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Southside has managed to compile a record of 101-156. Their 39.0% winning percentage ranks 45th in Class 3A and 289th in the AHSAA.
