 2022 Preview

Snook Christian finished the 2021 season with a disappointing 1-8 record.

The Eagles have never won a playoff game in the school's history. They would like to break through and pick up that first post season victory in 2022.

The Eagles would prefer to forget the past two seasons as they have finished with a 2-13 record.

Snook Christian is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only four seasons. They have managed a record of 9-28 over the past four years.

The Eagles are led by head coach Keith Smith who is entering his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 9-28 over the past four seasons at Snook Christian. Under his direction the Eagles have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Smith.

Coach Smith's overall record as a head football coach in four season stands at 9-28 (24.3%).

The Snook Christian Eagles will play in Class A region two during the 2022 season.

It will be an uphill battle for the Eagles if they hope to grab one of the four playoff slots in region two this season. After just a single win last year, Snook Christian will be hopeful of winning a few more games this season.

The Eagles open the 2022 season on the road against non-region opponent Cornerstone Christian on Friday, August 19 at Michael B. Willis Memorial Field. Last year the Cornerstone Christian Chargers finished with an overall record of 2-8 and in sixth place in Class A region one. The Chargers closed out the regular season with a loss to Hooper Academy by a score of 41-6.

Snook Christian and Cornerstone Christian have met a total of 4 times on the football field. The Eagles have a 0-4-0 record against the Chargers. They last met in 2021 with Cornerstone Christian winning by a score of 67-12.
