North Jackson completed the 2021 season with a 5-6 record. With their 5-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 4A region seven, the Chiefs earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. North Jackson's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Gordo by a score of 37-7. Since 2010, North Jackson has gone a combined 79-57. Their 58.1% winning percentage ranks 23rd in Class 4A over the past twelve seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, North Jackson has gone a combined 198-92. Their 68.0% winning percentage ranks 6th in Class 4A and 53rd in the AHSAA. The Chiefs are led by head coach Joe Hollis Jr. who is entering his second season at the helm. His team finished with a 5-6 record in his first season at North Jackson. Under his direction the Chiefs have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Hollis Jr.. The Wildcats closed out the regular season with a loss to Fyffe by a score of 45-7. North Jackson and Scottsboro have met a total of 37 times on the football field.
