Evangel Christian Alabaster completed the 2021 season with a 13-3 record. With their 2-1 region record and a place finish in Class 8 Man region , the Lightning earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. The Lightning won four consecutive playoff games to reach the Class 8 Man State Championship game only to fall just short of claiming a title.
