Marion Academy finished the 2015 season with a disappointing 3-4 record. Since 2010, Marion Academy has gone a combined 23-19. Their 55.0% winning percentage ranks 4th in Class 6 Man over the past six seasons. The Panthers are led by head coach Scott Brewer who is entering his third season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 7-9 over the past two seasons at Marion Academy. Under his direction the Panthers have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Brewer. Coach Brewer's overall record as a head football coach in two season stands at 7-9 (43.8%). The Marion Academy Panthers will play in Class 6 Man region during the 2016 season. The Panthers open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Morgan Academy on Friday, August 26. Last year the Morgan Academy Senators finished with an overall record of 4-6 and in fifth place in Class AAA region one. The Senators closed out the regular season with a loss to Clarke Prep by a score of 34-28.
