Chambers Academy completed the 2015 season with a 10-3 record. With their 3-1 region record and a second place finish in Class A region two, the Rebels earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Last year the Chambers Academy Rebels reached the AISA-A State Championship game only to fall just short of claiming a title. They were defeated by Abbeville Christian in the State Championship game 42-14 in Troy. The Rebels won as many games as in any season since 1999. Since 2010, Chambers Academy has gone a combined 32-35. Their 48.0% winning percentage ranks 5th in Class A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Chambers Academy has managed to compile a record of 127-148. Their 46.0% winning percentage ranks 9th in Class A and 25th in the AISA. The Rebels are led by head coach Jason Allen who is entering his twelveth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 68-57 over the past eleven seasons at Chambers Academy. Under his direction the Rebels have qualified for the playoffs a total of eight times. They have won three region crowns with Coach Allen. Coach Allen's overall record as a head football coach in fourteen season stands at 89-72 (55.3%). Over the course of his career, Coach Allen's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of eleven times and won three region championships. The Chambers Academy Rebels will play in Class A region one during the 2016 season. Following realignment, the Rebels remain in A but move from region two over to region one. The Rebels should be considered one of the favorites for the region one championship this season and a home game in the first round of the playoffs. The Rebels open the 2016 season on the road against non-region opponent Coosa Valley Academy on Friday, August 26 at Don Greene/Rebels Stadium. Last year the Coosa Valley Academy Rebels finished with an overall record of 0-10 and in seventh place in Class AA region two. The Rebels closed out the regular season with a loss to Chambers Academy by a score of 64-20. Chambers Academy and Coosa Valley Academy have met a total of 33 times on the football field. The Rebels have a 25-8-0 record against the Rebels. They last met in 2015 with Chambers Academy winning by a score of 62-20. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
