Cahawba Christian finished the 2015 season with a disappointing 3-7 record. With their 2-4 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 8 Man region two, the Chargers earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Cahawba Christian's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Tabernacle by a score of 80-62. Cahawba Christian took a step backwards last year with their first losing season since 1985. The Chargers lost as many games as in any season since 1985. The 389 points scored by the Chargers last year were a team record in a single season. The defense allowed a team record 438 points last season. It marked the first time since the 1975 season that the Chargers qualified for the playoffs. Cahawba Christian is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only two seasons. They have managed a record of 8-10 over the past two years. The Chargers are led by head coach J.T. Teasley who is entering his third season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 8-10 over the past two seasons at Cahawba Christian. Under his direction the Chargers have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Teasley. Coach Teasley's overall record as a head football coach in two season stands at 8-10 (44.4%). The Cahawba Christian Chargers will play in Class 8 Man region two during the 2016 season. Overall, the region is among the weakest in the state.
