Summary:
          Leeds quarterback Rush Perkins ran for three touchdowns and threw for another as the Green Wave beat Cordova 38-21 for the Class 3A state championship at Legion Field. It was the first state title for the school.
          Perkins scored on runs of 23, 21 and 11 yards as Leeds completed their first ever perfect 15-0 season. He also had an 11-yard scoring pass to Randon Carnathan.
          After spotting Cordova an early score the Green Wave scored 24 unanswered points to take a commanding 24-7 lead midway through the third quarter.
