Summary:
       
In the Super Six title game the Hoover Bucs once again faced a Daphne team for the fourth time in six seasons.
        This time it was all Bucs from the opening kickoff as they blocked two first half punts for touchdowns and led 35-0 at the half on their way to a 56-14 win. Ross Wilson threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense.

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
