Summary:
         Jim Stimpson and Lance Mackey each scored on one yard runs to lead the Sand Rock Wildcats to their first ever state championship. The Wildcats struck first on a 13 play 62-yard drive that consumed over five minutes of the clock in the first period.
         With 4:58 remaining in the game Mackey scored his touchdown to seal the win for Sand Rock. Repton's only points came in the second quarter on a John Thompson 15 yard run. It came after Repton had converted on a fake punt and a fourth down run.
