Summary:
         Eufaula got the first big break of the game when a mishandled snap on a punt gave them the football at the Colbert County 29 yard line. Five plays later Tony Dykes scored on a 5-yard run to put the Tigers had a 7-0 lead with 5:07 left in the first quarter.
         Later. Barry Brown recovered an Indian fumble and the Tigers drove 62 yards for their second score and Eufaula led 14-0. The third Indian mistake, a fumble at the 45, led to a second Michael Thomas to Levi Richardson touchdown pass, this one for 13 yards. Eufaula led 22-0 at the half.
         The win gave Eufaula their first playoff state championship in school history.

Demopolis scored a record 761 points during the 2004 season. The Tigers finished the season 15-0.
