 High School Bio:

            Cox ran for 1,364 yards and scored 17 touchdowns while averaging 8.8 yards a carry from his fullback position his senior season. As a sophomore he ran for over 1,300 yards and 1,700 as a junior.

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
