 The 1953 Albertville Aggies were chosen Class A State Champions by the Birmingham News from District 4.
 

 
 

Albertville defeated Guntersville in the final game of the 1953 season to wrap up the Birmingham News state championship. Albertville and Guntersville were virtually tied for the top spot in Districts seven and eight prior to the game.
