  This Week's AHSFHS Power Ratings for Every Team  




          The Auburn Tigers take over the top spot in this week's 7A Power Ratings. In 6A Clay-Chalkville continues to top this weeks rankings with Saraland close behind. Hartselle also continues to climb closer to the top.

          Pleasant Grove is the top team in 5A while Moody jumps to second place.

           No surprise in 4A as Catholic Montgomery has a big lead over second place Andalusia. Mars Hill, Fyffe and Elba top the three lower classifications.

          The biggest movers since the preseason ratings have Catholic Montgomery +26, Vincent +25, Moody +24 and Fyffe +24.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
