Sports Writers Association have released their rankings for the 2021 Season.
| ASWA High School Football Poll | | Week 2 -- Sept. 1, 2020 | Mars Hill returns to the top spot in 2A and is the only change this week among top ranked teams. There are a few teams ranked the highest they have been in a long time.
West Limestone comes in as the #4 team in 4A and that is the highest they have been since the 1989 season. Also Geneva County is the #3 team in 2A and that is their highest ranking since the 1998 football season.
