Some thirteen years ago this summer AHSFHS.org became a reality when the website was created. Over the next few years with the cooperation of our fans over 98% of all the football games ever played in the state were found and documented on the website. Over the years more relative content was added to the website.
A few years ago I decided to add our neighbors to the west and Mississippi joined us. Since then we have researched every source available online and now have 87% of all the high school football games played in that state. This includes about 98% of the games played since the 1950 football season.
Now in these troubling times, we are going to add our third state with Tennessee joining our group of southern states. Much of the research has been done but there is plenty yet to be found. We currently have about 80% of all the high school football games ever played in Tennessee but are missing coaches for many teams. I started collecting Tennessee information a number of years ago and have continued to work on the state over the past few years in my spare time. During the past three months I have worked almost exclusively on the state to find scores and put the teams and schools together.
Now I am happy to announce we have partnered with www.tennprepdb.com to speed the process along in Tennessee. They have completed untold hours of research over numerous years and are willing to share that information in order to assist in completing the state. It will make this process much easier and definitely shorten the timeframe for completion of our goal to find every score for each school in Tennessee. We really appreciate tennprepdb.com sharing everything with us and look forward to working with them in the future.
We have completed over 210 teams back through the 1950 season and have over 110,000 scores currently in Tennessee. Research and data entry is being done on an almost daily basis until all the resources have been exhausted.

Stop by and check out a few of the more prominent teams in Tennessee and share the link with your friends in the state. Between the three states we now have over 400,000 football scores in our databases. A great accomplishment and something even I never dreamed was possible some thirteen years ago this month.
