 2018 Preview

Lighthouse Home School completed the 2017 season with a 5-3 record.

The Warriors enjoyed the first winning season in the school's history in 2017. No team at Lighthouse Home School ever won more games in a season than the five victories last year. The 321 points scored by the Warriors last year were a team record in a single season.

Lighthouse Home School is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only four seasons. They have managed a record of 10-24 over the past four years.

The Warriors are led by head coach J.J. Duarte who is entering his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 10-24 over the past four seasons at Lighthouse Home School. Under his direction the Warriors have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Duarte.

Coach Duarte's overall record as a head football coach in four season stands at 10-24 (29.4%).

The Lighthouse Home School Warriors will play in Class 8 Man region one during the 2018 season.

Region one will be one of the most competitive regions in any classification this season.

The Warriors open the 2018 season on the road against non-region opponent Freedom Academy on Friday, August 24. Last year the Freedom Academy Cowboys finished with an overall record of 3-5 and in place in Class 8 Man region one.

Lighthouse Home School and Freedom Academy have met a total of 11 times on the football field. The Warriors have a 3-8-0 record against the Cowboys. They last met in 2017 with Lighthouse Home School winning by a score of 44-28.
