Patrician Academy's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Lowndes Academy by a score of 36-8. Patrician Academy took a step backwards last year with their first losing season since 2003. The Saints lost as many games as in any season since 2003. Coach Lindsey's overall record as a head football coach in five season stands at 35-24 (59.3%). The Patrician Academy Saints will play in Class A region two during the 2017 season. They have reached the playoffs every year since 2001 and will once again be in the hunt for a spot in 2017. The Saints open the 2017 season on the road against non-region opponent Evangel Christian Alabaster on Friday, August 25 at Hoover Central Park. Last year the Evangel Christian Alabaster Lightning finished with an overall record of 9-1 and in place in Class 8 Man region one.
