 2016 Preview

Lighthouse Home School finished the 2015 season with a disappointing 3-6 record.

No team at Lighthouse Home School ever won more games in a season than the three victories last year. The 202 points scored by the Warriors last year were a team record in a single season.

The Warriors would prefer to forget the past two seasons as they have finished with a 3-15 record.

Lighthouse Home School is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only two seasons. They have managed a record of 3-16 over the past two years.

The Warriors are led by head coach J.J. Duarte who is entering his third season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 3-15 over the past two seasons at Lighthouse Home School. The Warriors have yet to reach the playoffs under his direction. They have not won a region crown with Coach Duarte.

Coach Duarte's overall record as a head football coach in two season stands at 3-15 (16.7%).

The Lighthouse Home School Warriors will play in Class 8 Man region one during the 2016 season.

The Warriors open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Central Florence on Friday, August 19. Last year the Central Florence Wildcats finished with an overall record of 5-5 and in sixth place in Class 4A region eight. The Wildcats ended last season on a positive note with a win over Columbia by a score of 38-14 after failing to gain a playoff spot.

This will be the first meeting between Lighthouse Home School and Central Florence on the football field.
