 2016 Preview 


       Last year R.C. Hatch finished fifth in Class 2A region 4 with a 2-4 region record and failed to qualify for the playoffs.

       Since 2010, R.C. Hatch has gone a combined 20-41. Their 33.0% winning percentage ranks 44th in Class 2A over the past six seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, R.C. Hatch has not won much with a record of 34-194. Their 15.0% winning percentage ranks 57th in Class 2A and 377th in the AHSAA.

       The Bobcats are led by head coach Jammie Abraham who is entering his fourteenth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 29-106 over the past fourteen seasons at R.C. Hatch. Under his direction the Bobcats have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Abraham.

       Coach Abraham's overall record as a head football coach in fourteen seasons stands at 29-106 (21.5%). Over the course of his career, Coach Abraham's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of one time .

      

      The R.C. Hatch Bobcats will play in Class 2A region 4 during the 2016 season.

       It will be an uphill battle for the Bobcats if they hope to grab one of the four playoff slots in Region 4 this season.

       The Bobcats open the 2016 season on the road against non-region opponent A.L. Johnson on Friday, August 19 at A.L. Johnson Stadium. Last year the A.L. Johnson Eagles finished with an overall record of 3-7 and in third place in Class 1A region 4. The Eagles lost in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs to Brantley by a score of 35-12.

       R.C. Hatch and A.L. Johnson have met a total of 20 times on the football field. The Bobcats have a 7-13-0 record against the Eagles. They last met in 2022 with R.C. Hatch winning by a score of 38-18.
