Conference Standings


          Prior to the beginning of the Mississippi High School Football Playoff system in 1981 most teams belonged to a conference. These conferences played a schedule amongst the teams to determine a champion each season. Some even played championship games or bowl games after the regular season.

          Below is a season-by-season look back at the Conferences that dominated the high school football scene in Mississippi for over fifty years.
