David, I was searching for this school because I recalled teams in our area playing them back in the early 2000's. I couldn't find it. After googling I discovered that they at some point changed their name to Southern Prep Academy. Can we get Lyman Ward added to the find teams list and have it redirect to their Southern Prep Aca. page.

There are numerous teams that changed their name over the years. Some three or four times. Example; Bessemer, Jess Lanier, Bessemer City.

Several changed their name and then reverted back to the original name later. A quick count gave me more than 60 teams that have changed their name at least once.

It would get confusing if I tried to add all the name changes for all those teams. I just always figure anyone looking for a team will eventually find it. There are so many things like that around here that is confusing when you try to look at over 100 years of history.
