The Brindlee Mtn situation is still in the air. Garner had said publicly he intended to retire.
But the school/system has said they don't want to hire a coach only they want a coach and teacher. And bringing anyone is would be predicated on the classroom need first, and right now they are not planning on having any openings.
Things can change and any decisions will be made very late relative to coaching hires. And there is a real possibility Garner returns as a volunteer and whatever assistant coaches would be volunteer as well.
This is all rumor and innuendo right now but it's from people close to the situation.

I saw Belgreen in Franklin County is looking for a new football coach because they will be starting football in 2023 and joining the AHSAA as a full member in 2024.
