With the public and private split. So will they try to play the private schools championships a week earlier?
Or will they play the private schools championships be on Wednesday. Then
public schools play 3 games Thursday and 3 on Friday with the 6A game being the last game on Friday night? |

1 pm: 1A-4A Flag
4 pm: 5A Flag
7 pm: 6A Flag
Wed, Dec 2:
11 am: Class A (16 team playoff - off week of Thanksgiving/Round 4)
7 pm: Class AA (8 team playoff - off week of Round 1 & Round 4)
Thurs, Dec 3:
11 am: Class 1A
7 pm: Class 4A
Fri, Dec 4:
11 am: Class 2A
7 pm: Class 5A
Sat, Dec 5:
11 am: Class 3A
7 pm: Class 6A (24 team playoff - top 8 teams off Round 1)

The AHSAA must absolutely love night games, even when it's possible to have all daylight games. Don't they know how cold it can be at night in December?
Not to mention that the stadium is not in a particularly good part of the city.
At least I don't have to go again. |

The 11AM then 7PM schedule is a terrible idea. Logistically it doesn't make much sense at all. |

When I was working in media, I hated having to wait an hour between games at 11, 3 and 7. Now there will be 5 hours between games four days in a row!

The games are on the campus of the University of South Alabama, not at Ladd Stadium. |

December 5th is also the SEC Championship. That will really hurt the 3a and 6a games.
