| Kind of surprised to see you have my Brooks lions in there. I think they?re definitely trending that way but they haven?t really shown what I think they can do yet. But I appreciate you recognizing them. |

This early in the season it's really hard to know what anyone has, so I kind of just keep teams in the order I had them in the preseason unless they lose. But I also stand by the theory that when a team loses, they should almost always drop at least 1 spot, so that leads to a lot of movement during the first 3-4 weeks of my rankings. So at this point in this season it's kind of at the point where the teams that will be ranked are those that are still undefeated, unless you're a known power like Mars Hill, Lanett, UMS-Wright, etc. Later in the season (about week 8-9) I'll actually start moving teams based on a combination of how good I think they are and their W/L record. |

| Fair enough, my preseason rankings hold a lot of weight too. "Until they lose, they deserve recognition" But I do view them in clusters. It is hard to explain, but I don't think twice about dropping a team that won, or keeping a team where they are if they lose. Depends on the level of competition and how they fared. |
