"Coach" Parkman served our little community of Beulah selflessly for fifty years. His first 31 years beginning in 1964 as head basketball coach. Please correct the record. His latter years were given to Principal at the newly created Elementary School. Honorable people should be exactly that, honored as I now seek to have said Elementary School renamed in his honor and memory. By correcting and reading this page you do service to a remarkable man who had such a positive impact on thousands of lives in rural East Alabama.
