Good morning all! Happy Friday! How does everyone think today's meeting with Private schools and AHSAA will go?

Will they go to area play instead of region?
Will they go to AISA?
Will they start their own "group"?

Should be interesting! 2 Fridays in a row!

Have a good one everyone! God bless!

Ainsworth has shown throughout this ordeal that he is more interested in protecting his special interest than he is representing the majority.

I wish he had been as passionate about helping the public-school systems as he is about helping private school athletics.

Some (mostly bigger schools) want to go back to the way things were too. I don't think that will happen right now, but if small schools leave for their own group or are separated, some of the bigger ones want to just shift back in.

Will Ainsworth and the AISA being at the meeting is interesting. Makes it sound more like a "hey let's explore leaving" meeting.

My understanding is the privates who have been in the association for a long time are wanting to stay. The ones that have joined in the past few years and are having a great bit of success are the ones calling foul. I could be wrong, but it is what I have been hearing.

Interesting for sure. I'm hearing that there is a push for all three from different groups, but some do not want to leave the AHSAA.
