Posted - 09/25/2013 : 18:05:06 First let me say that I'm brand new here on the forums, but I've been checking out this site for several years now and love it. I appreciate what you guys do here, it's amazing.
Here's my question; Does the site here accept info from members or does the site's info have to come from a specific source/sources?
The reason I ask is because as a graduate of South Lamar High School I obviously have checked out that football page many times. One thing I noticed first off was that under the PLAYERS section there is a typo (or an altogether incorrect name listed, actually). Does the staff here accept corrective info from the members, because I would like to submit that if possible.
Under the year 1988 you have listed a "Shalke Foster DL Sr." for South Lamar. The actual player is Shane Foster, who was an inside linebacker. I played at South Lamar myself and knew Shane (although I should say that I graduated 2 years after him). But this is the actual player you have listed. I thought I would submit this info for the purposes of accuracy.
Anyway, like I said, love the site. Keep up the good work.

Posted - 09/25/2013 : 19:18:36 We accept information from many sources and basically everyone. We wish to be as accurate as possible and appreciate it anytime someone can assist us with the mistakes of scores, coaches and players names.
The all-state players names are found in old newspapers and they are notorius for misspelling names of players. I will correct this error and anytime you find a mistake or have anything to contribute we encourage you to do so.
