            Athletic honors: All-City twice; honorable mention All-State; All-State; and All-America. He was captain of his squad as a senior. Frank played two years varsity football. Track was his other sport.

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
