 High School Bio:

            Anthony Landrum propelled Sweet Water to the Class 1A state championship and was voted MVP in the championship game. He finished his 14-game senior year by rushing for 2,104 yards and 39 touchdowns, earning him runner-up honors for Alabamas Mr. Football in 2007. As a junior he ran for 1,691 yards on 186 carries and scored 25 touchdowns.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
