            His junior season, Sam caught 59 passes for 1,376 yards and 15 touchdowns. Sam caught 75 passes for 1,574 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior at Fayette County. He caught 16 passes for 298 yards in a game against Pleasant Grove. In his career he caught 169 passes for a state record 3,844 yards and 34 touchdowns.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
