 High School Bio:

            Palmer ran for 2,001 yards and 26 touchdowns, had five returns for touchdowns and passed for 1,960 yards and 16 touchdowns. He led the Mustangs to a 9-2 record. He played quarterback and a variety of positions. Although small in stature, Palmer was difficult to tackle by opposing defenders.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
