 High School Bio:

            Hand led Gardendale with 79 tackles as a senior. He also played wide receiver, quarterback and kicked 19 of 21 extra points. He was named All-County, team MVP and Player of the Week.

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
