 High School Bio:

            Jones caught 32 passes for 704 yards and scored eight touchdowns as a senior at Murphy. He punted for an average of 41.6 yards, returned punts for 315 yards and kickoff for another 225 yards. He was named All-State, All-District, All-Region and Mobile Back of the Year. Jones also played baseball and basketball.

Etowah defeated Oxford 69-63 in 1991 to set a state record for most points scored by both teams in a playoff game.
