 High School Bio:

            Played varsity football three years; also played baseball and basketball. Earned All-State, All-Metro, All-County, Post-Herald Player of Week, Birmingham Touchdown Club Player of Week, and Leeds High School Most Valuable Player honors. During senior year, carried 180 times for 525 yards, passed for 15 of 35 for 365 yards and 10 touchdown passes; kicked 5 out of 10 field goals.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
