            Played linebacker on the varsity football team two years; also played basketball. Selected Most Valuable Defensive Player of 1970 and earned All-Metro, All-Independent, and 2nd Team All-State honors. Coached by Charles Hearn.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
