 High School Bio:

            Played varsity football four years and was captain for the 69-70 seasons. Earned Honorable Mention All-American, All-State, All-Conference, All-County, Most Valuable Linebacker and Whos Who Most Valuable Player honors. Carried the ball 127 times for 675 yards, averaging 4.2 per carry; scored 118 points; caught 6 passes and intercepted 5. Also played basketball and ran track.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
