 High School Bio:

            Sprayberry was on the varsity football team two years and was co-captain. He was All-County, Birmingham Post-Herald All-State 2nd Team, Birmingham News All-State 1st Team, Super 11 All-State 1st Team, and Honorable Mention 11 All-America Team.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
