 High School Bio:

            Lowndes County High School in Fort Deposit, Tackle was All-State; All-Conference CAC. He played basketball for three years and ran track for three years. He had four years of varsity football and was Captain of his team. His specialty was Placekicker. He made nine tackles per game, 19 for 24 points for 55 yards on kickoff. He averaged nine solo tackles per game as a senior.

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
